      6. Round table - Fabless Business Model in Semiconductor Industry: Current State and Future Trends

        1. Abstract:
          This round table focuses on the fabless business model within the semiconductor industry. It will explore the current landscape and emerging trends through a discussion with some of the most hands-on professionals from the fabless semiconductor community in Serbia. The conversation will center on industry needs regarding competencies, training, and career opportunities. The event is aimed at engineers and engineering students from both industry and academia who work, study or conduct research in a field of design, testing, and verification of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). We believe the round table will be especially valuable for students considering a career in ASIC design, as seasoned colleagues with 10 to 20+ years of experience in industry and research will share firsthand insights and real-world stories.
