    Abstract:

This paper demonstrates the use of a modular virtual environment for advanced teaching in measurement science through the exploitation of virtual instruments. The proposed setup enables the construction of a measurement uncertainty budget within a simulated calibration procedure, real-time data exchange with the ThingSpeak IoT platform, and the implementation of basic machine learning algorithms for data analysis. The virtual instruments operate over synchronized channels, allowing hybrid experimentation with both simulated and real signals. The results confirm that the developed environment provides consistent and validated outcomes when compared with realistic experiments, proving its effectiveness as a valuable tool for university-level education and training in modern metrology.
